I\u2019ve been writing professionally for more than 30 years.

For 15 of those years, I worked with a Silicon Valley marketing agency to create engaging content for some of the world\u2019s leading high-tech businesses\u2014including IBM, Dell, and Intel. Next, I managed a brand advertising program for VMware, where we bolstered brand awareness and drove pipeline by producing hundreds of ads every quarter for multiple global markets. More recently, I wrote or edited more than 150 articles for theNET\u2014Cloudflare\u2019s C-suite thought-leadership blog.\u00a0

As an independent consultant, I\u2019ve collaborated with a diverse array of clients\u2014from healthcare organizations to music software companies, and early-stage startups to leading global enterprises. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m also an academic writer. After earning a psychology degree from Stanford, I completed a PhD in history at UC Berkeley. I\u2019ve written an academic book<\/a>, published a few articles, and taught at both Berkeley and the University of Oregon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
